Jaws 1 and 2 mounting hardware for Fractal Fret Press (earlier versions)
This kit includes all the components to upgrade your Fractal Fret Press to be Jaws 2 compatible, as well as reconfigurable for use on the StewMac Jaws 1 locking pliers fret press system. Fractal Fret Press is not included.
A 1/8” hole modification is require to be drilled thought the bottom of the bulkhead for use with Jaws 1. Step-by-step instructions for the conversion can be found here.
Included in the kit are:
1 - M3x14 stainless steel screw
1 - 4mm to 3mm brass reducer tube
2 - 4mm ID .5mm thick brass washers
1 - Jaws 2 compatible 3/8” stem with M3 set screw installed
1 - M3x18 countersunk mounting screw
1 - 1/4” Brass bearing washer
1 - M3 thumb screw with nut (optional over preinstalled set screw)
1 - “Torque Fork” 3D Printed clip for locking the Fractal Fret Press perpendicular to the Jaws 2 clamp. (.stl file is available for free to download here)
